Because of the tremendous response to my channel memberships, I want to shine a light on every channel member who has been a part of this journey over the last year!

I appreciate each and every one of you! 🙏 I can’t wait to meet all of you one day. These fine folks comment on my videos, come to my live streams, and share my content. Each person on this list has been an integral part of my journey. How do I become a channel member?

Becoming a channel member is easy. There are now TWO options. While I do enjoy the YouTube memberships feature, they keep 30% of all channel membership funds. Because of this, I have introduced my Patreon and it is available as well:

1. Click the button to visit their YouTube channel.
2. Watch a video to see if it’s something you enjoy.
3. If it is, hit the 👍 Like button.
4. And then leave a comment.

What is the right way to leave a comment?

In your comment:

• Aim to use words from the video’s title to ask a question
• Make it genuine
• And let them know Mellow sent you

This method signals to the YouTube algorithm (the algorithm is the automated program that determines who and how many people need to see YouTube channels & videos) that the channel has content that engages viewers and makes them want to comment. The more of these signals that are sent to the algorithm, the more YouTube will share out the content.

Here are some other ways to meet my channel members that are also FREE!

• Watch videos until the end – This helps increase our WTR or Watch Time Retention. It’s how long we are able to keep viewers watching. The longer the better in YouTube’s eyes.
• Like the video – Totally free to do, most creators and supporters have turned this activity into a habit so no thought is required.
• Comment using keywords – Using keywords from the video’s title in your comment helps reinforce what the video is about to the YouTube algorithm.
• Ask a question – Asking a question helps create a conversation and strengthens our community. How long can you keep it going?
• Add to a playlist – Create a playlist for each creator you are loyal to. Then whenever they release a video, hit the + under the video to add it to their own playlist.
• Share to your favorite social media – This is the most powerful activity you can take to help strengthen and build our nomadic community because it’s a new opportunity for our videos to reach new audiences.
• Attend a Meet-up – These happen all across the United States and Canada. Find a meet-up near you!
